Hey all, as you know I have been running for a while, and have gotten some people to do reviews, which should hopefully start popping up here pretty soon.

I just wanted to let you all know that I have seen the prices of other techs, and have lowered my prices accordingly, to stay competitive. Please enjoy, and give me your money! >:D

If you have been wondering where the link to my site has gone, never fear, it is still in my sig, click the picture.

If you have any questions about CMI, this is the space to do it. I am also offering discounts for certain information, so if you can get me any one of these data, I will give you the discount associated with that.

  • APS-2 specs, everything below the receiver, from where the magwell is, to where each screw is placed, to the dimensions of the trigger box. 25% discount on your entire order.
  • Inner/Outer barrel specs
    • OD, ID and wall thickness of the outer barrel, and OD of the inner barrel. 5% discount off your entire order.
    • I need this for APS-2 and clones and any other BASRs you might have. I DO NOT NEED: Tanaka m700, APS-2 and clones, VSR-10 and clones, Type 96 and clones, CA M24 and clones, or the Hakkotsu M40. Everything else is up for grabs.
Now, I have been working on some small parts through Shapeways. However, their printing service is a royal PITA to deal with, so if there is enough interest, I might consider just stocking them here and you can buy them straight from me. We are talking VSR hop arms, with nubs special for the R and ER hops, as well as possibly an integrated SCS style nub. They will be very rigid, and even though they are made out of plastic, should still work better than the stock VSR arms, and they will be designed to take to TDC mods very nicely.

APS-2 users, never fear, I am working on replacement arms for the PDI hop chamber with the same features, possibly with just one giant arm instead of two separate ones. These will come a little later, but I am working on it.

I am also selling my anti-flex plates as well as PDI hop chamber shims, hand made out of copper, so if you are interested let me know. Pricing is on my site, and is, I believe, quite reasonable. The PDI hop unit shims allow you to use only one of the two hop arms on the PDI chamber, I have found that in some cases that helps your accuracy a little bit. Because they are all made to order, let me know if you have any special requests.

How exact do you need these measurements? I have the bar10 and could get them for you if it doesn't have to be too exact. My 8 inch slide caliper measures to .001 inches and my 1 inch screw caliper measures to .0001 inches. I don't have any metric calipers but I can just convert them.

This may be a stupid question, but ID is inner dimention and OD is outter, right? And you need stock inner barrel dimentions or something else?

The inner barrel is .333 inches wide. The outer barrel OD right before the threads is 1.13 inches, at the threads is 1.172 inches, right after the threads is 1.179 inches, at the very end is 0.9 inches, and the length is 22.594 inches give or take a bit (used a tape measure for that and got 22 19/32 inch). The ID at the larger end is 1.075 inches and the smaller end is 0.77 inches. You can find any measurements in between by finding the slope and graphing it.

I'll try to get the dimentions of the other things later. Tell me if I missed anything.

The dimensions of the trigger guard slot are 3.465 by 0.61 inches, give or take for any burrs. From the guard slot to the main body screw is 2.915 inches, again, might be a few small burrs.
The length of the main body screw slot is 0.265 inches.
From the screw to the start of the mag well is 0.98 inches
The mag well is 4.515 by 0.87 inches.
End of mag well to mag release button is 0.9.
The button slot is 0.325 in diameter.
The button to the second screw is 0.345.
From the screw to the sling mount hole is 2.395.
The sling mount to the front of the body is about 1.17 inches. I tried to get that exact but the end is curved.
The width of the stock at the front f the trigger guard slot is 1.87 inches and 1.66 inches at the sling mount.

I didn't measure the other parts of the stock because they are all curved at strange as like these when you wish you had one of those laser scanner things, haha.

Also, how detailed do you want the trigger mech dimensions to be?

Sorry for getting back to you so late. I took these pictures of different angles of the trigger mech with a caliper next to them. In the pictures I made sure the caliper is measuring the exact width of whatever angle it is at. If you zoom into the pics, you will still get good quality.

Tell me if you need more angles or if you need dimensions like what I did for the stock. Hope I helped.

The width is .545 around almost everything, the adjustment dial at the back is .69, the trigger is .31 inches. Height at trigger is 1.2, right after that .605, then after the bump is .52, going down to .385 at a slant of a length of 1.25 inches.

Look at this pic to see what I'm talking about: http://airsoftsniperforum.com/attach...1&d=1337351531 (same pic as in the last post)
