Wiley x has some really good goggles that are very low profile we used in the military. They fit real close to the face and are great for use with scopes.

I use ESS goggles (military issued at some point)
I ripped the foam out of them and they work great in 80%+ Maryland Humidity.

Had some really nice Wiley Xs, SG-1s I think, but I could never get them to not fog. Too bad, because they were the most comfy goggle/glasses I've evr owned, bar none

^I have wileyx patriots, and they don't fog, I've been using them for half a year.

I use Bolle X800. I use to fog every pair of goggles I had. Found the with the lens gap (of 2-3 mm) does a great job of letting air circulate! It has to be near raining before these will even hint at fogging, and even then they has to be no wind at all, and I have to be totally still!

I get the feeling that people think glasses/ goggles are better than mesh goggles.

Most of us just have mesh goggles banned at our fields. Also the non-mesh goggles are the high quality ones, or at least are considered high quality.

Mesh goggles can be dangerous!
There's no protection against shattered bbs!
Go with goggles or at least glasses.

I rate mesh higher than glasses beause glasses move around way too much and if a bb gets just to the side of your glasses it can riccochet off of something and into your eyes. Trust me, I've watched it happen to a friend. It bounced off the side of the bridge of his nose and into his eye. It happened two years ago so he's fine now.

I have two team members that run mesh goggles. They have been field tested with a 400+ aeg, full auto, point blank range and have not failed or allowed any bb bits get through. It may have to do with the type of BB being used as well. Most high quality styrene bbs will deform but not shatter.
They use ones called Hero Shark. They are nice but I find for my eyes they tend to dull down the light too much for me!
None of the field I play at have banned mesh!

It also depends on how tightly woven the mesh is and whether it is stamped or woven mesh. I have seen some pretty loosely woven mesh where a bb cracked and half the bb went through. It only split in two but still it got through the mesh. A lot of goggles however are so tightly woven they won't let pine needles through. If you do happen to use mesh make sure it's tightly woven or have small stamped holes.

High quality Woven can take a lot hits at 3 joule point blank. Stamped can break from one hit.

Really? I've seen many woven mesh masks and goggles deform and become useless, but I've never seen or heard of a stamped one failing!

My older pair was a Bolle glasses (don't remember the model) and kept fogging.
I sweat too much and the solution I found stated above ... ESS Profile Turbofan.

I am beginning to think that you feel that I should stay clear of mesh and keep to anti-fog. Based on this, what way would you go about stopping airsoft glasses from fogging up. For me I find that once I clean them, in a few seconds I cant see through them with the fogging. Remidies please.

Wolf, have you used those with ghillie hood and something that covers your lower face? I previously had bolle x800, no go. They fogged without a guestion even when using anti-fog so for the last few(two) years I have used mesh goggles. I have been thinking of buying ess turbofans since I gues that they are THE glasses for me but they are quite pricy.
What i'm trying to ask is that have you got turbofans fogged when wearin ghillie hood and something that covers your face?
