Cobra/Viper Hood

Alright. Well Im looking for new gear now that my rifle getting fixed is coming along so that I can play. I had my ghillie suit but to be honest it wasnt all the well made and now that im at my full-grown height my ghillie is a tad small and it looks RIDICULOUS on me.

SO, I have been having trouble going between DM and Sniper. I love my ghillie, even though its a homemade it still worked. So I remembered an old product someone here had. It was for some big event and I remembered it had to do with a snake.

Finally I found the damn thing and come to find out they are like 200$. SO, I was wondering if this fine community knows of any knock-offs of this product. I tried Ebaybanned because I thought I saw it on there, but no avail.

Im really stuck on this decision. I would either get the Web-Tex and add netting/jute to it for more ghillie. Or buy a jumpsuit and add netting/jute/bands to it.

Find like an old hoodie or something and use that as your base. You would still have the arms for the attachment

Just need to find one that is thin enough so it isn't so heavy or thick, and you sweat to death.

Webtex/Arktis vests are now pretty much standard issue with current UK snipers due to there ease of use/lightness compared to a conventional suit.

By far the best and most adaptable system, and if I ever make another one it will be on one of these as a base ;)

Above all else avoid using a jump suit to make one, unless you plan on carrying twice your body weight in fluids to re hydrate during use, as they are even hotter than a conventional style suit :-/

They are always around 32 to 35 GPB ex shipping, but you wont have to pay our VAT so I'd expect it to be in the region of 40 GPB shipped.

Do you have a spare ghillie Roman?

You could always just cut the front off your ghillie and add some kind of straps around your torso and your arms. Should give you around the same look.

No, I dont woogie. I have my old one but that one was more of learning experience. I know what I have to do now to make it better. I think im just going to build one from a jumpsuit. Lot less hassle and around the same price.

I have one that I made that is light and comfy. Find like an old football jersey and use that as a base.
