Nice! Very Nice! Those are the moments I wish I had a scope cam lol!
They are very much worth it! TBH, I forgot about this shot until I was reviewing footage, then I watched it a bunch of times slowed down to make sure it was actually my bb that hit him...ha! There have been a number of shots I thought hit in-game, only to see narrow misses in the footage. Had some the other way around too - stuff I didn't think hit actually did.

Well-done, nice shot, and nice camouflage!
Exposed skin (not wearing gloves or long sleeves) may give your position.

Thanks! Yes, not to mention it is also hard on the elbows and arms, crawling through the brush. That said, the increased tolerance for high-temperature is worth it, IMO.

As for camo....when I'm hunkered down, my ghillie hood is pretty good about camouflaging me, but this position forced me to be a bit more exposed than I liked.

Thats fun. How far? Always hard to tell in video... 20 feet looks like a mile
Between 200-280ft based on landmarks and google earth, but I don't know for sure because he was in the middle of a field. Still haven't gotten used to my new rifle's increased power, so estimating based on travel time is hard too.

240ft seems reasonable based on other shots from the day.

Oh yeah we got basically the same set up. I'm liking it more and more now. I was really on this last weekend. But then I have weekends where I do terrible. I'm convinced the trick is, you've got to think like a BB..

It's hard to see in your video the BB's flight but I recognize that dejected turn around by the guy in the helmet

You guys ever try canting your gun so that the hop up carries the bb left or right around cover? I've been doing that this past week and it could be nonsense but I feel like it helps when I've got a gunner peeking around a tree and only giving me a inch or two of targetable area. Shooting at an angle a few degrees off the horizontal, I swear I see the Bb arc around a little oh, maybe increasing that area to 3-4 inches, which is a doable shot at 50-60 yards

Yeah, that guy from Caddyshack is who I try and mimic when I shoot, gives me 30m+ more range and people laugh instead of shoot me.

As for canting, that's a thing that you do for wind like you said, but also just dealing with a jank ass hop if it's acting all curvy no matter what.

Yeah low tech solution to hop up always arcing bbs to the right: loosen scope, rotate 5° left, retighten.
