Hello, I've recently put a tasco hunting scope on my AGM L96 and I could never get the darn thing sighted in right. I soon realized that the scope, or the mounts, or the rail, is crooked. It gradually slants to the right. As you can imagine this makes shooting accurately very difficult. I was wondering if maybe there's something i may have done wrong during the installation? Could it be that the weaver rail that was on the gun when I bought it is crooked? If anyone knows what I might've done wrong or how fix this problem please let me know.
Thank you in advance.

Check the rail is on properly and make sure the mounts are suited to the rail. Some mounts don't clamp in equally on both sides (usually cheap rubbish). If they don't fit, change them.
There is a huge amount of adjustment in the average rifle scope.
I would be surprised if you can't correct for something as minor (minor for airsoft) as a crooked mount/rail .
I had a BE L96 with a barrel which bent to the right by a good inch or more... There was enough adjustment in the cross hairs to correct it, and that was with a real piece of crap scope.

Thanks everyone for the input. I did do some experimenting with the hop up (thanks furry') and I replaced the scope mounts, checked out the rail, (it was straight) I put the scope back on and started some long distance shots on a 1'X1' target at growing distances and it seems I got it working. This being airsoft, I didn't hit the target every time, but it seems better. Thanks.
