Custom 90° VSR trigger (S-trigger)

LATEST VERSION S-trigger v.7

I hope that you don't forget on my S-trigger :).

It takes me some time to figure out what I want from the new trigger.

It is mostly:
  • Preserved safety function ( its challenge in this design )
  • Zero need of modification to the gun or trigger guard ( my priority )
  • Simply as possible
  • Robust and durable
  • Versatility ( TM VSR/TM L96 in one package )
  • Some adjustability ( length of trigger pull )
  • Light trigger pull ( even better than on last version )

I have prototype of a new S-trigger v.7 on which I am testing above-mentioned.
Its not the final design, needs some tweaking but is not far from that.

How much I wanted to makes it different from ZERO trigger. I spent a month by trying to make it completely different :) In the end its almost from 30% Zero trigger. Internally its almost completely redesigned. Less complex and easier to manufacture.

Stay tuned for news

Info for Older version of the trigger ( v.6 ) below in code
Code:
[B]For[/B] these who don't know my trigger , I call him [U]S-trigger[/U]. Functionally is based on Noobies M-trigger. So if there anybody who still trying to find some M-triggers for sale , I can offer you my S-trigger which has all features of M-trigger and something more.

[B]Advantage[/B] of my trigger beside other after market triggers is preserved function of [U]safety[/U] [only my S-trigger and V-trigger has safety].

For example on stock JG BAR-10 spring is trigger pull weight on my S-trigger [U]1,5 lb[/U]. and on V-trigger [U]4,5 lb[/U].

[B]It[/B] is simple 90 degree design focused on durability. All steel construction of trigger is ready for strongest upgrades available on market.

[U][B]Trigger pull weight[/B][/U]

Average trigger pull weight on my S-trigger is 1.5 lb.

Dont stop selling them bro.. Its winter and business always slows in the winter. How much are these "S triggers"?
I make pistons and have been looking to make some 90 degree pistons. Heck, I have been wanting a 90 degree triggerbox but havent had the money to spend on these expensive ones on the market. And to be honest, I think this is the first I have heard of yours! And I bet I am not the only one who hasnt heard of them. Do you have a website?

Also, is there a way to make this setup as a standard 45 degree too? I have issues with the standard design trigger box, I have broken way too many! But I need to keep having a standard 45 for the pistons I make. I would love a 90 degree in my personal rifle though.

And if these triggers work with the M28, you and I could get together on this.. Your badass trigger and my badass piston! lol..

Looks good but it all depends on the price and quality.

Many do prefer to buy know brands, I myself have no issues as long as the performance is there.
HI, I think price is reasonable (60 EUR or 80 dollars), I could tell its a quality thing but my opinion it not so important. More important are opinions of customers.

Honestly, I just looked at your post on the other forum.. I am very impressed!! This all came out when my Degenerative disk disease was at its worst and I wasnt playing airsoft for awhile. I'm sorry I missed this

Hi, you are doing great job with your upgrade parts.

As I told I am selling these for 80 dollars. My first impulse to start work on it was unreasonable high price (as you told), but there are many cheaper copies of expensive ones now (eg ActionArmy zero trigger copy).

I don't even think about it , I mean about 45 degree piston sear in my trigger.
But I think it isn't so impossible. Problem could be in compatibility, I read that M28 is not fully compatible with VSR. I don't know how much they differ.
Trigger is differ reportedly only slightly.

I don't have a website for now.

If you want I could do some ,,research,, in thing 45° piston sear in my 90° trigger

The M28 uses the same triggerbox as the Vsr does. Some people report having problems, but I have used 2 bar10 triggerboxes with no issues. Even used my M28 triggerbox on a Bar10,lol.. Used a triggerbox from an Agm l96 also on my M28, the problem is the front tabs where the screw goes keeps breaking off..

The prices of the rest of the zero triggers are still quite high, and the "action" brand on WGC is $88 I think it was.. But to be honest, I'd rather buy from someone, than from a company. I prefer to help the small businesses,lol..

I was looking at your design and I figure the trigger sear can be shaped to match the standard 45 degree also. If I were you, I would be making both types. There are plenty of people out there that need a good trigger box for the 45's. I have broke 2 just this winter, and one over the summer,lol.. 3 in one years time is just stupid! And the new ones I just bought, I'm certain, they will break too.. Probably one will break before summer,lol..

I would gladly advertise your triggers on my website too.. I would like to help you in any way possible, as this also will help the airsoft community..

I will try to do some 45° piston sears for testing. And if you are telling it is compatible I could only trust you.

I will be grateful if you advertise my triggers.

And what spring do you have in gun when triggers are damage so frequently ?

I just bought two bar10 trigger boxes and about to install em in a few. Only trigger box I had a problem with so far is the janky empty shell for $14 on evike. It just wont work.

I cant see why people would not be buying your trigger boxes to be honest! So many people complain that the regular gearboxes are good enough, and they want reinforced ones but they are constantly sold out..

The springs I use are less than M28 stock springs,lol.. I prefer my rifles to be around 420fps. My rifle last chrono'd at 421 fps, and still broke two trigger boxes! I have never had much luck with Vsr trigger boxes,lol..

I have 1 of these fitted in my main VSR

Absolutely superb piece of kit, I've had no issues with mine at all and was considering buying a second for my other Visser ......

And now we're talking about ending production  looks like I'll have to go and buy an over priced mass produced piece of sh1t instead by the time I have the available finances :lame:

So in an effort to increase their cred and keep production going.... Atleast long enough for me to buy another.......

If they're good enough for the assassin surely they're good enough for everyone else ...... >:D

Wow, the Laylax broke? Haha.. That sucks!

I got my rifle used and the guy before me must have stripped out the holes that the trigger box screws into. So he had fatter screws to hold the trigger box on.

So every triggerbox I get, I have to drill the screw holes bigger. The screw holes itself arent breaking, just the front tabs kept breaking off. I decided to retire my M28 and bought another one to replace it. This ones screw holes are the correct size,lol..

I must reinforce my trigger mounting holes too. I stripped thread after few attached triggers. I consider to reinforce it with V-coil thread repair set and it is unbreakable now :)

And yes standard trigger box have a "few" weak points

I considered using Jb weld to fill the holes and re tap the holes so I can use smaller screws again. But eh.. I saw a new "used" M28 on Ebay and I wont the bid at $40.50 haha.. Just easier to use that one instead and have my old rifle for spare parts. Then my buddy decided he wasnt into being a sniper and wants to sell his M28, so why the heck not.. Gonna buy his for $60,lol.. Comes with a Simmons 3x9x50 scope and 2 mags. So I now own 3 M28's. Still have to pay him though. He is coming into town in a few weeks so no worries. Will have my personal rifle and one for my piston tester like I originally wanted.

Might still end up Jb welding the holes on the old reciever and re tap em out.. Just not sure yet.

V-coil or Helicoils are unbelievably durable though. They use that to fix stripped cylinder head threads of cars (or whatever the thing is that keeps the engine doing vroom instead of boom)

Also iirc they do not change the tread size.

hahaha, nice.. JB weld is made to do the same stuff. Its designed to fill holes and be tapped etc... I will have to google the stuff you guys are talking about.

Edit..
Just looked up Helicoils.. WOW! Thats awesome!! I'm going to see about getting some, thank you guys for mentioning that.
