Custom 90° VSR trigger (S-trigger)

LATEST VERSION S-trigger v.7

I hope that you don't forget on my S-trigger :).

It takes me some time to figure out what I want from the new trigger.

It is mostly:
 • Preserved safety function ( its challenge in this design )
 • Zero need of modification to the gun or trigger guard ( my priority )
 • Simply as possible
 • Robust and durable
 • Versatility ( TM VSR/TM L96 in one package )
 • Some adjustability ( length of trigger pull )
 • Light trigger pull ( even better than on last version )

I have prototype of a new S-trigger v.7 on which I am testing above-mentioned.
Its not the final design, needs some tweaking but is not far from that.

How much I wanted to makes it different from ZERO trigger. I spent a month by trying to make it completely different :) In the end its almost from 30% Zero trigger. Internally its almost completely redesigned. Less complex and easier to manufacture.

For these who don't know my trigger , I call him S-trigger. Functionally is based on Noobies M-trigger. So if there anybody who still trying to find some M-triggers for sale , I can offer you my S-trigger which has all features of M-trigger and something more.

Advantage of my trigger beside other after market triggers is preserved function of safety [only my S-trigger and V-trigger has safety].

For example on stock JG BAR-10 spring is trigger pull weight on my S-trigger 1,5 lb. and on V-trigger 4,5 lb.

It is simple 90 degree design focused on durability. All steel construction of trigger is ready for strongest upgrades available on market.

Average trigger pull weight on my S-trigger is 1.5 lb.

Overall I am quite happy with the trigger. A step up from the finish on my last trigger I got from you. Both are nice, the new one is just better. Nice clean, smooth, and light trigger pull as expected, I think it might be a little lighter then the last one.

I do however have a little problem, the rear mounting screw does not line up on my HFC receiver. I am sure I can unscrew it and move it, or mill out the hole a little and make it fit.

I have also experienced some no catch, as in the sear does not catch the piston. This is due to holding the rifle downward during cycling. Also noticed this if you hold the rifle off axis as well, though it was only once. I think it can be fixed if you move the magnets a little bit up and forward, or use a little stronger magnets. That is one thing will not be able to test.
- HFC is not TM VSR compatible ? How much is ,, little ,,to make it fit ?

- Yes I know about it , When you cock straight down it has some problems with catching. Few degrees of angle UP and it works great. Problem is probably strength of magnets. I bought them as M35 but I dont think so they
have claimed strength.

Can be fixed by adding two more magnets (one to each side)
Springer, I've installed your trigger unit in my new BAR10. Very happy with it. Question: I managed to strip the threads of the front screw hole in the receiver. You once posted that you've used a helicoil to fix that problem. Which size was that?
Hi, nice to hear.

It was M3x0,5

It looks around 1 mm (0.039 inch). If you have 3mm round file it will be easy to fix it.

Please ensure that spring guide stopper is in vertical position. He should touch to the end of slot in receiver. When is not vertical it could cause stiff bolt return.

Springer, the stock spring guide stopper has a small indentation where the small 'pin' on the back of the spring guide goes. Why is the spring guide stopper on your S-trigger smooth?
It has more PROs than CONs for me. In earlier triggers I was making classic stopper with hole for pin. As you may know my trigger isn't made completely on CNC , so some drill operations were made by drill. It was impossible to make it every time in same quality. When I don't drill it directly where it should be it cause problems in cylinder. Spring guide wasn't aligned with piston and there starts problem with cocking. With no hole is ,, self-centering,,. Almost every after-market trigger using this or similar design.

Do you have any specific problem with that design ? or are you only curious ?
I should send you solid spring guide stopper (non-removable one). If you are OK with that.
Great to hear. Its good to know that trigger is in right hands.
Hi guys. After some time I am back here with some news.

I hope that you don't forget on my S-trigger :). Someone still using him, someone want to use and someone don't know about existence of trigger.

 • Zero need of modification to gun or trigger guard ( my priority )

 • Some adjustability ( length of trigger pull )
 • Light trigger pull ( even better than on last version )

Yes. Magnetic trigger must retreat against versatility.

First 20 triggers are available. If you're interested contact me via PM, Facebook or my website. These first 20 are not compatible with Mancraft, so please consider it. All the next will be.
