Hello Guys.

First of all, I'm from Brazil so, english ain't my native language, therefore, you must forgive some mistake I may make.
Well, that said, I've just bought a Cybergun
L96 AWS. Ya, ya, ya.... I know it ain't the "real deal" but still is a nice piece of weapon.
Let's cut to the chase... I DO NEED some help upgrading it.
Actually, I've already started doing it.
I've bought a Prometheus 6.03 inner barrel and a PDI Type96 Hopup Chamber. Was it a good start?
What else would you suggest?
I want my rifle with something around 600 ~ 650 fps and impecable accuracy.
I'm thinking about a new Precision Cylinder Set, a new trigger (a stronger one) and, of course, a good spring. I need brands, specifications and good places to buy.
May you help me out?
Waiting to hear from you.
Best regards.

Welcome! There are a bunch of articles in here about upgrading those, but I would look into getting an ER hop installed. Cheeseman installs those, and from what I've heard, does a damn great job! A new bucking and the ER hop should bump up your range and accuracy some. I hope you enjoy the forums!

This is nearly impossible in airsoft at the moment UNLESS you use very heavy BB's > 0.6g.

Did you buy an AEG bucking?

For high power, it will cost a lot and you will need an upgraded:

  • triggerbox
  • piston
  • spring guide
  • m190 spring (or m210 depending on your air seal)

I think that's his plan. ;)

The PDI cylinder sets are great, and the PDI v-trigger is also quite solid. I don't think there is a compatibility issue between the PDI cylinder parts and the Laylax Zero trigger, so if you can, I would certainly buy that.

If you go to x-fire (google it, I don't know the URL) you can buy all of the PDI parts, and those a usually quite good.

Thanks for the props exomatt. For the record, I agree with him, an ER-hop and LRB would compliment this nicely (click on my sig).

Ooops lol. I guessed I skipped a whole sentence :ashamed:.
