Hello Everybody,

I own a Cyma 702A.
I have searched allot on which parts fits the replica.

Many people are speaking about a copie of the Sw m24 other say its the same as a MB01 Well.

I want to know for sure now.

For that i took my Cyma apart and took some pictues from the internals.

Piston length:

Cilinder length with out the part were the lever fits:

Innerbarrel length:

Personal i want to start with upgrading the Innerbarrel and Hopup unit.
But i dont know which hopup unit fits.

This one i though was right but then i read its only for Sw M24.

Will L96 mb01 trigger fit on CM.702 or any other part from L96?
hello there.
so i installed piston + piston head, spring guide (all from Poligon52) and 13mm m150 spring (airsoftpro), and got output of 181-182m/s (593-597 fps).
accuracy was meh.
then i bought Poligon52 dedicated mb702 hop up, PDI w-hold, and PDI raven 6.01 487mm barrel, installed it, and voila, 190 m/s (620-623 fps) and quite an increase in accuracy.
still not satisfied with result, right now ordered two lever hop up from PDI fit for sw m24, gonna modify it a bit and we'll see.
What is the diameter of the cyma m700 piston, it is 22 mm?
Did anyone get this gun working properly? And if so, with which upgrade parts? The video Whatt posted seems to be good, but I don't understand it :p

I got a 702B, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Hello everybody,

Lets get the dust off.
Sorry for my absence for so long time.

What have i done:
Installed the Piston cylinder and hopup of airsoftpro.
Madbull aeg 6.03 stainless steel 509mm tightbore barrel.
Maple leaf 70° bucking aeg.
Mounted a silencer for the longer barrel sticking out.

Now i hit targets within 80m one shot when enough body is showing.

Next step for me is replacing the trigger for a airsoft pro trigger.

And i want to replace the cylinder head.
Is there somebody here that already did this?
Which one did you use?

Greetings

Hi,

Sorry if it is a bit late for the answer and again sorry for a bit of necroposting, but I think this post is one of the biggest knowledge share for this rifle on the internet.

I've been playing for a while with the CM702. Not so happy with my first build, which included the PDI Raven 6.01 barrel with the stock Hop Up chamber and rubber... The results where not optimal, as the hop up effect wasn't good. Precision was poor.

Now I'm facing the re-upgrade of the precision part. But for the start, let me share what I have installed right now:

AirsoftPro Cylinder, Piston and Spring Guide
Fijo Custom APS220 Spring and Cylinder Head

My new precision set (untested for now) is:

AirsoftPro Hop Up Chamber
JOPA Hop Up Lever for CM702 (Spanish Custom lever maker, awesome guy, awesome results)
Madbull Blue Rubber

Now what I'm missing is the barrel. I don't know what diameter will be optimal. I know I have to go for a 500mm barrel and house it inside the silencer adapter with a compensator or something like that. But... 6,01? 6,02? 6,03? How can I know what will be the best for me?

I use Specna Arms 0,43g Bio BBs.

Hope we can have some help around us.

Regards

I also have this rifle and recently decided to upgrade (it was always my intention anyway). After searching for what felt like forever for parts, I ended up buying:
•Airsoftpro m24 hop up gen 2
•Airsoftpro piston and spring guide
•Airsoftpro Steel bolt/pistonhousing
They've all fit in really well, but....
And this is a big but, my favourite kind of but.
THE GUN DOESNT SHOOT! And I can't seem to figure out what's causing the jams! Not a single shot will successfully pass through the hopup unit and it sucks. Anyone with a fix for this?

Have you tested the compression using your finger to close the cylinder head and shoot? (with inner barrel removed). This is the first step for troubleshooting... see if you are getting any compression.
Yes its one of the first things I did. I have managed to get the gun to feed now by replacing the inner barrel (its a longer barrel so i had to widen the bore on the suppressor adapter as the stock one does not allow inner barrels to pass through). The issue I have now is that the bbs just fire out and drop almost instantly (I think this is due to the stock bucking still being used but I have a maple leaf monster en route)
UPDATE: so I've sorted it. According to the airsoft pro website, the stock barrel and stock bucking are compatible with the hop up unit. But it appears that this is where my problems were. I've replaced both the barrel and bucking and now the gun shoots perfectly fine 🙂 I will update you all on how well it's shoots after my game this Sunday.

How was the accuracy/range after upgrades ?
Apologies for the delay. As im sure you all are too, Christmas is a busy time for us haha. Anyway. So I've played a couple of games with the gun since successfully upgrading, and there is a HUGE difference. So much more consistent, the range is far superior, and I even have a smooth ass bolt. So all in all, I would recommend upgrading with the parts I've used. Merry Christmas all
Hi all.
The 702 is my favorite not because it is the best. but it gives me some amazing results. I have an l96 and I have mounted some system vsr.
The trigger and the series cylinder hold perfectly. If you decide to change it airsoftpro has the whole power set for the. And it goes really well.
They just got a new 15% lighter piston that I have not tried yet.
The volume of air that moves is greater than a vsr.
The camera and the serie barrel directly in the trash.
Hop up chamber Airsoftpro with cam Jopa goes well.
PDI chamber with Jopa cam The best option.Shark madbull rubber. and of course a good micrometric tdc.
I set a 02 of 500mm. and hit targets between 80 and 90 meters without problem.
Going further.

evening all

just to add a few comments really from buying a cm702 and trying to mod it,
the airsoft pro piston , spring and spring guild is loud but fits a treat.
i found a brazilian company that have made a few additional items that may be of interest ( not bought any thing but some one might fancy a go on in)
https://www.kppairsoft.com.br/42-plataforma-m24-702-cyma
many pistons, cylinders, hop units etc

i bought the PDI sw m24 hop unit which works very nicely if very delicate to adjust on 0.48g bbs be fore over hopping with a ML aeg 60deg bucking

i found that the moidfy mod24 / ssg24 bucking will work in the stock chamber and barrel(once you sand the locating rings and sealing "ribs" on the out side of the bucking off. this again, is alot softer than std bucking and lifts 0.48g bbs

if like me you have what can only be described as loose as F%^k hop up chamber arm, i just put a layer or two of jack pyke type on the inside of the black arm to make a tighter / stiff grip on the barrel arm adjuster.

hope this helps some one at least.

ohh i filled every crack hole, crevice with foam to try and silence the gun.

I'm currently building a budget Mk13 mod 5 on the Cm 702 platform. The reason for this choice of platform was that it's one of few platforms with the correct "long action" needed for the Mk13 build. Also it's extremely cheap and with no weird fluted barrel 😉

My upgrades so far is a r-hopped 485 mm PDI Raven for SW M24 using a red Madbull bucking and the included H spacer, Airsoft Pro gen 2 hop unit and cylinder head and random m150 spring. The rest is stock, but I've changed out the piston o-ring for a fatter one. I've got 100% seal with these parts.

Inner barrel is stabilized by 4 tape barrel spacers.

Shoots straight for the confirmed max range (without having to aim way high over the target) at 80 meters, confirmed by laser range finder. The bbs were ASG AICS .40 grams.

I'm very pleased with the performance and testing so far and I'm currently waiting for my airsoft pro m170 tune up kit to arrive to hopefully be able to reach just a bit further out, hopefully with the same precision.

I am also considering of getting the 702 and upgrading it with AP parts, since they introduced their gen 3 hop up unit, with the side slider adjustment.
Got the AP M170 tune up kit today. Still waiting for my chrono to be delivered to get some real numbers of the system, but I got a 100% air seal in the stock cylinder, plug 'n' play!

Bolt pull is smooth and bolt returns by gravity alone, I believe due to the awesome spring guide.

Got my chrono and with the M170 tune up kit it shoots right at the maximum local field limit for bolt snipers using Novritsch .46 bbs. The reading with .20 bbs was 182 m/s

Hello guys
Thank you all for the topic, really this thread has the most info about the Cyma m24 on the internet.

I got issue with the whole stock part, therefore I started to search for upgrade.
The main problem was with compression between the HopUp and the cylinder head.
Did someone had the same issue like me with the stock cylinder head ?

Till now , I bought AP stainless steel cylinder, Al piston and AP hop-up unit gen.3.
Also I'm wondering what inner barrel to buy, till now I stopped on PDI Raven 6.01 and Maple Leaf crazyJet. Could somebody consult me about the barrel ?

Best regards

Maple leaf crazy jet is probs better.
But if you want to upgrade the hopup unit you have 2 options.
1) airsoftpro hopup unit
2) polygon 52 hopup unit (need to custom order from Russia)- but is probably better.
Both require aeg barrels and buckings.
