Cyma cm702 Upgrade pats.

I got the new AP gen.3 hopup unit but it looses compression somehow :/

I'd ont know about the AP gen 3 hop unit but I had a similar problem with the gen 2 version. The nozzle would leak through the slot meant for installing the sealing o-ring into the hop unit. I solved it by filling the slot with low viscosity silicone grease to prevent any air escaping there. Made the system 100% air sealed. Perhaps you've run into something similar?

Yes, it leaked around the nozzle, but I didn't see where is this sealing ring. Next week eventually I will try with AP cylinder head with wider nozzle to work around.
Could you point this sealing in the unit ?

I need your advice and help I have the same gun and I changed everything to Airsoft pro trigger Piston cylinder everything also the hop up chamber!
And I can’t achieve a proper Air seal! I tested the piston do you say is perfect I’m sure your ear is getting away by the hob chamber! I used a Teflon tape and currently I have a Aimtop bucking!
After I plug in the barrel And fire my gun there is coming a lot of air from the pop-up chamber I can fill it with my other hand!
I have a 180 spring in the rifle and I only can make 570 FPS! Which is I guess bad because somebody can achieve more FPS Rita 150 spring. My goal is not the FPS but I want to seal it properly!

First of all, plug your cylinder with your finger and fire, you should be able to tell if it is a cylinder or a hop up issue after that.

I already tested it it’s holding the air like a pro! The issue is with my hop up chamber I’m sure !

Ok, probably the bucking then, I guess try the Teflon tape mod and if that doesn't work I would suggest a different bucking.

EDIT: upon further inspection, I bet that the leak is between that rubber ring and the bucking, I suggest that you try gluing it with ONLY SILICONE BASED GLUE to help with air seal.

Thanks for the tipp, i did what you suggested, used Teflon tape and also used some heavy duty silicon glue! I let the glue to cure for 10 hours! I did a test shot and there is still no seal! I can hear that the air is escaping through the hop up chamber! But the rifle is much quieter. I will go back to the original chamber, and buy a aps2 bucking, because I can’t find the original one which came with the rifle! I let you know guys if I managed to seal the rifle!

the Action Army APS2 bucking will work and the new SSG96 bucking will work really really well if you file off your barrel window.

Also, maybe try a top dead center mod if you can

I suggest a plain old Maple Leaf Omega concave nub, they work great.

sorry for necro but is there any piston upgrades except airsoft pro brand?
