I've been thinking about getting a M14 for a DMR. Out of all the models to choose from, the CYMA seems to be the best. Any other suggestions?

The only other three recommendations that could be made are the TM, G&P or some would argue, the G&G. Make an intro post before the mods get you.

As I have the G&G M14 SOCOM and as I spent several hours stripping down and servicing a CYMA M14 SOCOM on Friday I have to admit, as nicely as the V7 gearbox goes together, I much prefer the ease of access and cost of replacement parts for the G&G V7'ish gearbox and the hop unit is much more accessible in the G&G.
They are both great guns, but again with a side by side comparison, the G&G is better straight out of the box.

As most here will know my response, I'll repeat it for those who don't....... G&G AAaaaaaaallll day long!!!!! Classic Army as an option :-/
I too have worked on my fair share of TMs and its clones and frankly they are a ball ache compared to a G&G or CA, and as also stated GB parts are more fruitful in choice of option, the down side.... standard mags are an arse to find in stock :
