As I have the G&G M14 SOCOM and as I spent several hours stripping down and servicing a CYMA M14 SOCOM on Friday I have to admit, as nicely as the V7 gearbox goes together, I much prefer the ease of access and cost of replacement parts for the G&G V7'ish gearbox and the hop unit is much more accessible in the G&G.
They are both great guns, but again with a side by side comparison, the G&G is better straight out of the box.
