I'm looking at getting a spring that'll shoot under 450 fps for my type 96.
Obviously I don't want it shooting much lower than, say, 425 fps because I need to be able to use at least .3's with it without any problems.
Anyway, I can't find a laylax sp130 on any sites so I'll probably just go with a systema or guarder M130. Does anyone foresee any problems installing one of these (I have both a 7 and 9mm spring guide, so that's good to go) in a bolty (L96)?
Also, I can't have it shooting hotter than 450 fps because then I'd have to roll with a spotter and larger engagement distance. The main reason I'm doing this is to be able to run solo at public events and to have a shorter engagement distance (obviously I don't need to be below 400 fps for the 10 ft engagement...
).
I'm running a 6.03 prommy and it seems like a sp130 shoots 430 fps with a stock barrel (~6.08). Do you think this will stay below the limit or should I just go for an M120? I'm a bit short on cash or I'd just buy both and have an extra to tinker with.
Thanks
Haven't had a question for a while, but saving money is always an incentive to get some opinions
