I own both M28 and CA M24. The M28 uses a single stack feeding similar to a M4 mag. The M28 mags feeds so nice and after the last shot, I can chamber the bolt without slamming into the follower which my CA M24 has broken several M24 followers from it.

And if you could find M28 metal ones, the only thing metal would be the outer shell only.
