Thanks! Painting was a lot easier than I thought. The scope is rubber, so I can't paint it, but I do have a burlap/veg wrap that I can throw on there.

It shoots kinda funky. I tried .28's at my last target, wasn't impressed. It seemed more consistent stock with .40's. I'm going to tear the hopup down again, redo my teflon, and add shims to the arm. Based on other reports, that should take care of it.

Update!

After a hiatus, from airsoft and this board (3 weeks left until I get my B.S. in Business), the gun now shoots birdhouses at 100 ft (headshots ftw) and a 12"x36" board at 200 ft with 90% or better consistency.

Working on my new ghillie.

Great news man. Been awhile since there was an update, but were you having accuracy problems with the rifle before? I know someone on here was having trouble with their m28 clone, but forgot who.

If so, any update as to how you got her working smooth? I know quite a few guys would benefit from this.
It was a hop up shim mod that used index cards (yours?), and Dragon64's teflon tape guide. And I lubed the crap out of the internals with white lithium grease.

With .36's.

And then I worked on getting the scope set correctly.

Oh, I also hit a board at 300 ft on the first shot. It was the size of a small car, or a gaggle of newbs.

If your friends are having mechanical problems, I can't really offer any insight. I haven't had any so far. maybe I'm lucky, or I just don't shoot that much.
