Hi all! I'm finally tinkering with my Echo-1 PSR. I know there has been a lot of crap talk on this rifle in the past but I got this gun open box and it has been nothing but phenomenal, all while stock. Amazing hopup, power, and bolt pull. I just want some extra juice from my spring. I have been told this rifle was about 100% VSR compatible. However once going to install a new spring I noticed a vast difference (pictured below). The PSR spring is longer and skinnier(top) while a traditional VSR is shorter and wider(bottom). I haven't worked on anything but VSRs and the spring cannot fit in the cylinder. Is this maybe APS-2 or something? Any help would be phenomenal so I can get a little extra bump in performance from this wonderful rifle.

Thanks!

Looks like a 7mm spring which means 7mm Aps2 springs may work. Two ways to find one

1. Buy a aps2 spring
2. Measure everything about the spring to compare to known spring sizes.(never see anything other than aps2/vsr/AEG springs now days though really)

Ya know, I for some reason never thought to measure anything while in my haste. I'll take that into consideration this time 🙂
I'm thinking it's an Aps2 spring but before I go and wing a buy, I think I'll do some more homework!
