Hey guys!

I'm new here, so please go easy on me. I'm brand new into airsoft sniping, as it fits my playstyle very well (long range, patience, accuracy, and strategy). I'm getting my first sniper rifle, so far I've only had a custom m4 and some low-end AKs. After looking around, I've found that the Echo1 M28 seems to fit my needs very well. I am a big fan of the M24/28 platform, and decided that's what I should start with. Does this seem like a good option for me?

I don't have a ton of money, but have enough to get some decent upgrades to start out with. I have limited knowledge of spring internals, and don't feel comfortable with many DIY mods yet.

Hoping you guys can help me out!

Check out my M28 threads in the Gallery and the Others Section! This is a great gun, especially for someone who doesn't want to do much modding. I just finished modding mine because the plastic piston finally wore down after years of constant use. For example, a VSR-10 needs full internal upgrades in order to deliver ANY results...and that has a 600 dollar price tag, minimum. This gun I got used from a good friend of mine after he had it for 3 years. It was still shooting 200 feet and HARD with just the stock parts! Also, the barrel is already a 6.03,which is great! If you use .40 gram bb's (or with the slow extinction of the .40 you could probably get away with .36's) I think you'd be psyched. I'd be happy to help you with any questions you may have too!:)
