+1 to the classics!
The BV guns are indeed silent enough but not like a Tanaka and they lack accuracy down the range, but they do have pretty big range(90-100m)!
The Asahi WA2000 is pretty loud and dead accurate tho.

I like the simplicity of the BASRs and the availability of spare parts especially on springers.

MiloXC3 you're right, I want to add the fact, once you hit someone from the opponent team his teammates start to move with caution thus delaying giving your team the time to regroup and make a strategy.
Of course there's the recon role when you give targets possition to the assault gunners!

The problem now is the summers heat... I can't even think of wearing the ghillie suit!
