I think that he meant that in order to mount it, you need to use the screws that come with the other rifle.
I.E. you need to use the screws from the t10 with the emg trigger.
A lot of vsr clones have different size trigger screws so you normally need to use the ones that come with the rifle.
^yep, exactly like that

Regarding to the trigger, I wish I have my old VSR at hand to try it out but my guess is you will need to cut out quite the corner away from the trigger box, but I dunno how much of that is structurally important.

The steel was tested to be actually fairly weak (you can literally chisel the "steel" box away with very little effort, but for some reason the inner barrel is tough as balls it literally isn't even fazed), but just 2.3J should suffice and wouldnt break instantly; and even if it does it's well 35USD at worst

That barrel is stainless?

What is the bore like?
Unsure, but likely 6.03 like all other APS inner barrels

Inner bore quality is good with no visible issues

Does anyone know the threads for the sniper? I’m trying to find an adapter so I can put a mock suppressor on it and I’m hearing different things on the actual size
The only thing I know that, to my surprise, is that VSR pro (conical) barrel silencer adaptors don't fit on the rifle for some whatever reason.

So I asked APS about this and I got a reply stating they will be releasing one for the rifle in the near future, so there's that I guess

Internals - Trigger

Remember how EMG said this gun is VSR compatible.....well they probably lied a bit. This gun's trigger design, while in effect pretty much a VSR trigger, does not have its hard points designed like a VSR and is pretty much unexchangeable with anything.

But what they did not lie about is that this trigger is actually really a zero trigger, and instead of only having a steel engagement sear this whole mechanism is all made up of a thick piece of steel (or at least something that can be attracted by magnets), with the whole thing built like a tough steel brick. Even with a much harder spring the trigger is softer than the Maple Leaf's 90 degree zero trigger under the same stress which is incredible (so you can rule out it having a similar design to a V-trigger since it's so much softer), especially considering the price point.
Sir did you have pics from inner view of the trigger or dissassembly ? Will be Nice to see how works

More detailed comparison and testing

View attachment 18279

Since I do not have an original VSR for testing, the cross compatibility test is done using a T10 and some spare parts I have in hand and might be slightly (but not significantly, probably) off.

Receiver compatibility

View attachment 18280

While the receiver is on-spec in terms of seating in a stock, due to the narrow stock width a bull barrel cannot be used. It's likely that a tapered VSR can seat into this stock without issues but I cannot verify.

View attachment 18281

Remember I said about the trigger not being compatible……well it turns out I lied instead. Although the threads are not the same compared to standard VSRs (M2, compared to the M3 of the T10, and M4 of the SSG10), provided you have compatible screws or use the stock screws you can actually attach an aftermarket trigger onto it and it functions entirely A-OK.

View attachment 18282

However due to the trigger box design if the Fieldcraft, it seems that the stock Fieldcraft trigger couldn't fit into other rifles like the AACT10, even though you can attach the trigger onto it like normal. Anti parts scavenging much? (If you used a regular trigger you can fit the whole receiver into the T10 as usual)

A hex screw slipped during the process of attempting to detach the outer barrel from the T10……rip, good thing I have kept the spare barrel somewhere handy though
As seen in here the receiver thread part is significantly wider, you cannot fit an aftermarket bull barrel onto it at all (not that you can given the stock dimensional limitation). Good thing the receiver is VSR compatible though.

A CYMA 50rd mag and a regular TM mag has been used to check magazine cross compatibility.
While the stock magazine is a snug fit and can enter and leave the mag well effortlessly, the other two mags couldn't fit in properly, and will get stuck even if you managed to brute force it in, you will have to disassemble the gun to get it back out. (In comparison, the T10 doesn't have any of these issues and all mags can be used pretty much normally)

It turns out the stock magazine is about as wide but is slightly shorter than the others (the CYMA is notably longer than a TM one by a really small margin), hence the jammed mags problem. By filing the magwell slightly with a chisel (as seen in here - it was a flat reflective surface), while the stock mag is now a bit loose (but still comfortably tight) while the others now fit snugly.
By chiseling the magwell, did it affect the other mags and how much you sanded off?

Very little, barely noticeable without using digital rulers
It will cause the original APS magazine to not fit as snugly as it used to be but it doesn't affect function at all, and will fit snugly with other brand VSR mags

I ordered a mapple leaf bucking (despite the comments), to test out and repport.
I have a very bad hop up performance with stock bucking even after cleaning it. At 1.8J (FR version) I barely lift 0.4g.

I ordered a M150 11mm spring, a new piston and spring guide from TTI.
You can also find these on aliexpress, no idea if it's the same specs, but it looks about the same products than on my airsoft parts supplier.

I noticed you get 21.68mm from inner cylinder... I get 22.00mm to 22.05.
So this new piston should fit without issue (less than 22mm).

Stock, the cylinder was DRY. Adding a little bit of silicon oil drastically changed the sealing.
I would advise to all owners to at least do that, as well as on the cylinder threading as repported here.
I ordered silicone grease ; it should be even better with that.
As for the fieldraft body, the outer surface where the cylinder slides was dry too.

So a Little update.

If you want a 440mm EDGI bull barrel , you can use a Striker S1 barrel spacer on the front end of the barrel.

The trigger guard is plastic and weak , if you overtighten the rear bolt/screw it will break off a plastic ring really easily.
