Sadly, I haven't received an answer from another forum so I hope you guys can help me out here.

So I'm actually getting both Type A and Type B DangerWerx Hop Levers and I came across the R-Hop from HS5. So I thought I could I give it a try but I wanted to know if its possible to use an AEG barrel, have it cut out for the ER Hop and use it in the TM Hop Up chamber? I have an EdGI 435mm AEG cut barrel just sitting in my room waiting for the PDI Hop up unit that I don't plan on getting anytime soon. Basically I want to install the ER-Hop on the AEG barrel and put it in the VSR 10 TM Chamber. Possible? Thanks in advance!

A few buddies and I ordered the ER hop and we're having a machinist due the cutting. I just wanted to know if the only difference with the AEG barrel compared to the VSR barrel was the window cut. I assume it wouldn't matter what barrel cut it is if Im going to have it cut for the Rhop. Am I right?

The difference is the ring that's cut around it, but you can either cut the ring, or cut the very end of the bucking off that goes in the ring. Just make sure the bucking has a tight airseal. I also think the other difference is the little flat notches where the grub screws push into, but those should be easy to do.

If thats the case then I sure I can easily drop in my spare barrel AEG barrel in. I dont really want to use to use my actual VSR barrel for the mod. The VSR and AEG barrel are actual identical other than the the barrel cut. Thanks for the help! Hopefully all goes well!
