I am so dang confused with all these mixed stories about Evike. I hear a hundred people saying dont ever order there and a hundred saying they love the place and never had a single problem throu all the years they went with em.. I presonally have never used them before. If you have, please tell me your opinions of them.. and please please dont just say they suck and not say why.. and please dont say you knew a guy who knew a guy who did. I need to order a Vsr piston like now and I need advise. Yeah I need one for my M28 too but who knows when that will happen and I would just like to play.

I doubt I will ever go back to Airsoft gi cause I recently felt I was screwed by them so I am still in the angry area with them.

Airsoft Atlanta has a few good parts but only have in stock super expensive pistons and I would rather not pay $60 or so for a piston.

I also would like to get a piston that is 100% drop in and use! I dont want to get out my dremel and make anything fit,nor do I want to grind my sears to work with the piston.

I was looking at an Angel customs piston and a laylax neo.. They look identical!
I was also recently looking at Airsoft Extreme. Nice site but they want to charge $13 shipping for the same piston Evike will ship me for $5! I have only used Airsoft gi for my parts for my Aeg's, I have never bought aftermarket parts for a bolt action before and want to do this right, the first time..

As we all know, its pretty slim pickins out there for bolt action parts! I dont really want to spend more than $40 on the piston it self. The best part about Airsoft Atlanta is that they are the closest to me over all the other places I know of.

I bought G4 extreme bb's and they were dented to all heck and then told them so they sent me two more bottles that were dented up also.. I am now awaiting a fourth bottle.. I feel I should get something out of this other than 3 bottles of garbage bb's.hahaha.. I was told that he was tired of looking for good bb's for me.. Thats what did it for me! Crap happens, dented bb's happen but the whole part where the customer service is tired of doing there job flipped the boat as far as I'm concerned.. I plan to release ALL emails on this to the public.. I posted a review that of course never got posted.. I am done with em now. I have been buying from them for years and years but this one bad time costed them a customer that was ONLY loyal to them and them only..

I am going to get on the conversation on A.S.. I now see why I left that forum a few years ago now, way too many A hole little know it all little kids and I cant deal with that anymore. I am becoming bitter and aggressive in my old pain filled life to get told by a 15 yr old. No offence to the decent 15 yr old out there in the airsoft world, but I get into arguments easily, even when I dont mean it,lol.. I get into my moods and when I notice them coming on, I have to vanish till I feel better or else I say things I dont mean. "My darkside is getting stronger,lol.."

I just want a piston, I dont need a billion dollar uber one,just a piston that I can trust. I am sooooooo tempted to just get whatever at this point. I prefer something metal like the PDI hard piston but they arent anywhere. I saw the Echo 1/ Well upgrade kit but I just dont need a metal spring guide or another 500 fps spring cause I already have two springs just setting doing nothing. Evike has the best prices and the bast option for cheap shipping but I am honestly afraid to have a bad experience with them. I hoped Gi would get their crap together cause I wanted the GI PE piston for $35 but I read that I would have to mod my sears. I also read lots of people had issues with that piston, so I am leaning towards the laylax neo or the Angel customs. They are the same from what I can see. And I saw a few others that say they are the same also. But at AE the neo is only $40! So that seems perfect!!! But the shipping is WAY more than Evike who is right in the dang same area as them.

Nope,lol.. Been playing near 12 years now and just dont care for Aeg's as much as the feeling I get with a bolt action in my hands. Aint no other feeling like it buddy. I have been through lots and lots of Assault rifles etc... Usually I dont own an Aeg longer than 6 months cause I tend to get bored easily with them. I love bolt action rifles, I gaze apon countless picture galleries daily and use em in every shootem up game etc... Only aeg I would really want to go get would be the Gr25. But I still like a good ole sexy M24!

I cant afford to order from out of the U.S right now and I am really wanting to play in about a week or two. I am so tempted to try Evike just cause of the prices. I am honestly afraid,hahaha..

I would say a week is about average for in Michigan too. At least from Airsoftgi. They are both in Cali.

I am just going to get from Evike. I dont want to get the pistons I saw at Airsoft Atlanta cause they cater to mostly bore up pistons and I dont wanna get all the stuff in a bore up. I still wanna order a new piston sear just cause I feel a new piston and sear are a good idea. then I can just start fresh with this rifle. Unfortunately Evike hasnt got any in stock

I must say the red pistons look pretty sweet, I think I want to later on get a teflon cylinder cause they are black.. Yes that is the only reason I want it. These mirror like cylinders kinda suck at concealment,lol..

Yeah no doubt! Thats terrible to be left without any reason for that long! I would freak,lol.. I already have a hard time holding my toungue,hahahah.. Imagine what I would end up saying on the phone by the end of the 2nd week! I cant imagine 3 months.. I think I narrowed down my store and item I want. Yes I know I dont need the 500fps spring,I dont care. It will just go in a box with the other two I have. I dont need the metal spring guide but the piston is the least expensive on Airsoft Atlanta.

Its the most basic of pistons and as of right now its all I can do. Shipping is low cost at $5 and some change. 2 days shipping time which is great! I can get back to working on my custom Bar10 again. Being stuck at a stand still is making me go stir crazy.

I have stock sears right now. There isnt much wear on the piston sear for the most part but I would just feel better having new sear with a new piston therefore I can keep an eye on the wear and start fresh.

At $10 its a steal.. pun intended,lol.. I know absolutely nothing about SHS but I see that its steel and not crappy pot metal cast aluminum so its better no matter what.

I know if I was to spend a few dollars more I could get a nicer piston but I am afraid to try out Evike. Wont give Gi another chance and Atlanta is way way closer to me. I only need to get this baby going again and in a few months when finances get correct, I will use that money to build this sunuva gun up! Yes, pun was intended that time too :tup:

Really? Because I have a massive shopping cart for that site filled with bolt action upgrades.

At Airsoft Megastore?? I dont think so,hahaha.. I only saw a bolt assembly for a Kar98 and that was the only bolt action anything part on the whole site. Unless they have parts in another section instead of the internal parts section. I also looked in accessories too. Please, if you have such a massive cart full of stuff from Megastore, please post some links cause after two days of looking at every page on that site I am yet to find anything even close to a bolt action part.
