Extreme range questions

I read a lot of posts on a thread about the longest shots made by people and I have a question of how some of these ranges are possible? I believe its consistent hopup, and good bb's so they do not get much deviation between shots, along with and elevated position and lots of lobbing. What do you think?

There are plenty of threads on the topic, both on this forum and other forums. Learn how to use google, the search bar and research topics on you own rather than thread spamming.
Biggest things are good BBs, perfect compression, perfect sealed hopup, and a good bucking. Then add a good barrel, higher FPS'(doesn't effect as much as you think), and you will have a good set up.

I don't think anyone here has perfect compression, but you sure can get close. DIY mods can help, but for EXTREME ranges you are going to have to have some power as well. For instance, I can get out to over 200 feet with an SP130, but that is pushing my hop up abilities with .4s to the limits. If I were to want more range, I would definitely have to upgrade to some more power.
Fellas getting the 300ft shots are generally shooting 500 plus. For most of these shots though the player can barely feel getting hit. Like my furthest shot was with a .25g bb and a 328fps gun at 175 ft or so. That involved barely any lobbing too. It shows you how important hop up is.

Well I know about achieving long range shots (like how it is done), but I have not seen a thread about 500 foot shots. I am not asking for how to achieve long range shots, I just have never seen a thread on 500 foot shots, and can not even imagine the difficulty involved.
its already been answered but fps beyond 200 is neccassary, I dont ever see shots greater than 200, I am always in the woods, but I shoot 590 fps and it thwaks pretty good at 200 with .4's

I know it has been answered, I was telling that to Sons of Odin about why I posted this thread. I have gotten what I have needed from this thread.

Suppress, don't immediately think people are personally attacking you, and always trying to explain yourself. Newbie was stating some more info/facts despite realizing the original question of yours had already been answered. He was just adding to what already had been said. ;)

I know I am not being attacked, just I said I could not find the answer I was looking for so I was saying what I thought allowed these ranges. Also I am still learning this forum so I am slowly getting better,
You also have to think about anybody else here. Newbie may have given some valuable info for somebody else. Oh, and watch your commas. ;)

Sorry about any mistakes as I am horrible at grammar and spelling. I often think something I type looks fine but often is not. Are you trying to say Newbie may have been talking to someone else with his post? I just figure most of the posts will be towards the thread topic so I can see me thinking they are towards me.

Supress, you are taking some of these things too seriously. Newbie was simply adding to the thread. You went on to to attempt and defend yourself when no one was attacking you, and trying to explain yourself when there was nothing to explain.

Basically, there is no need to make a big deal out of some of these things. You need to just take the post for what it is, understand what has been said, and ask more questions when necessary.
For gods sake he either took it too seriously and deleted his account or fuzzy deleted it. But I don't think fuzxy would do that.

I would never delete someone's account, even if I were to ban the user. However, in this case, the user deleted his/her own account. As unfortunate as it is, I can't do anything about it and it was his/her choice.

Suppress, if you read this, you are welcomed back at any time.
