Hey yall,

Let's get right down to the issue: I was installing the Mancraft SDiK in my BAR-10, everything was normal and fine until I slid the PTC tube lock fitting onto the air line (that little red ringed brass fitting that prevents the brass tube from coming loose from the trigger box/cylinder). Currently, the red ring is facing towards the trigger box and despite my best efforts to apply pressure to the o-ring to release the grip on the line, it's pretty much stuck in place.

The only solution to this issue that I can foresee is to carefully dremel off the old fitting, then buy a new fitting and replace in a way that I can easily take it off if needed.

If anyone can think of a way to remove the fitting without cutting the line or destroying the fitting, that'd help me out a lot.

Ive had that happen before... There's really only two options to get it off. One being that you use two pliers and clamp the red part down as hard as you can and then yank it off. It will involve a lot of cursing and swearing and may not be successful. The other option is to take a sewing needle/pin needle and carefully poke the oring that sits beneath the red plastic part. Once you get it to protrude out to one side, you can sneak another needle underneath it and then work the oring over and off of the fitting. Alternatively you could completely cut the oring and be done with it. Just note that it may not work as well after you destroy the oring.

Late reply, but just wanted to say that the needle trick worked. Although, now it won't stay in place (to hold the trigger) as the barbs are in the opposite direction. But I'm just worried about the small victories.
