Agreed! Love the mini Hecate. My favorite real one I've owned was a badass Rem 700 SPS with a 20" heavy barrel- that thing was a tackdriver at 100 yds. with .223 handloaded rounds- Lapua brass, VV133 powder and 52 gr Bart's and Berger bullets....

Its not military, but Im getting a Noreen ULR (Ultra Long Range rifle) in .416 Barret here in about 2 months, a nice little christmas present to myself >.> Im pretty impressed so far, and its even made in my homestate, thier "stock" chamberings are .338 Lapua, .408 Chey-Tac, .416 Barret, and .50 BMG. If the criteria must be military then I go with my SVD.

I may be young, but I like old school. Torn between a Winchester Model 70 with Unertal 10X scope or a Sharps rifle in 45-120 and a creedmore tang sight.

Simple, yet effective. The M24 has been my favorite sniper rifle for as long as I can remember.

I did pick other. The only 2, I ever used in a hostile situation was the XM-21 and the PSG1. I perfered the M-14 based XM21. Tho both served me well.

Barret Light fifty... Can't be beat in a combat situation.

I do also have a softspot for the R700, its why I chose the JG BAR 10 over the SVD.

I'm guessing you have a poll up? (can't view them in tapatalk) anyways I'd go Barrett mrad in .338 lapua mag. But from personal trigger time deciding a model 700 in 308.
