What's your favorite/dream car? I posted this so we stop the thread jacking of the DMR thread xD
I like a lot of cars, but mainly Japanese cars. The SUPRA is my baby. RX-8, S2000s.

I posted the year along with the model of my favorite of each type. Post yours.

Damn... Depends on what type of Vehicle your talking about. I'm a sucker for any sport coupe made by the Europeans. (BMW [I drive a 2001 328I, its a little rough], Mercedes, Porsche, etc.)

But, I'm also a huge fan of American made muscle cars. I like all the older ones (before ~1980) but after that I'm a die-hard Ford fan. My Dream Car: 69' Fastback Mustang with a Cobra Jet motor in it.. Like that will ever happen. The new CJ motors go for $18k, $25k if you want it supercharged.

That being said, I do like some of the Asian cars, providing they arn't totally ''riced out'' like I see them now a days. No big-ass spoilers or stupid fart pipes for me!

So, I cant pick a favorite TBH.
Hybrid. Something that has the same gas millage as my Kawasaki Ninja 250.
Loved my 91 Mazda MX6 turbo! That thing was pretty g darn awesome! Oscilating vent flaps, race style seats were so nice and comfy,lol.. and that get up and go was something I seriously miss! I got up to 130mph and had pedal to push. I backed off at 130 though cause I honsetly was scared,lol.. Most cars these days have the spedometer end at 120-180mph.. this ended at 225! I cant imagine doing it but holy smokes, it had some guts! The wife talked me into selling it 4 or 5 years ago and was promised I could get a motorcycle. Uhmmm, yeah.. Still waiting on a bike,lol..

Go to a drag strip! Haul ass. xD

I can't afford my dream car, the supra, nor the Rx-8, So I'm going for an 04' Mustang GT.
Most late 60's to early 70's muscle cars are just pure beauty to me. I do like a lot of the newer sports cars though like the new Vette's.

Most cars can't hit that speed at all. My sister had a POS saturn that had a speedometer up to 150 but it topped at 105.

My cars speedometer stops at 120 and has a computerized top at 115.
It still has plenty of ass left at 115 it the computer just won't let it go any faster.

As for my dream car? It's definitely a subaru impreza wrx or sti I don't really care which. Although I'm currently saving for the subaru brz. I enjoy cars that don't feel like I'm driving a boat and that would definitely be the best choice right now in terms of the new lineup. Otherwise a S2000 if I could find one for sale. Something about 240hp rwd stock that gets my blood pumping. Just put a intercooler and turbo and it would be just about ready to drift.

Unrealistically I would do the new 1000hp shelby mustang.
Saw a Top Fuel dragster do 317 on the quarter mile at an NHRA race in Epping, NH one year... Fastest I've ever seen something in an internal combustion engine move.
I love my Jeep!! It's a 92 Wrangler YJ with a 4 cylinder and a five speed standard transmission. It isn't fast, but when you take the top off and go offroading, it's fun!! I really want a 95 Wrangler TJ with a V4 turbo charged diesel, a four speed automatic trany, and 4in lift kit and big mud tires!! But also a 55 Chevy Bellair would be cool!! With a big block V8 and custom paint job.
That's a tough question!
I voted European cars but I also like alot the Japanese.
My personal car is a 2009 BMW X5 SD e70, but I'll never buy an SUV again! I have my very first car which was a Seat Ibiza! My wife's still drive but I really hate VAG(Volkswagen-Audi group) their cars are full of problems especially their latest cars.
I've drive almost all beasts from Japan like all the Evos from Evo 6 and upwards, Skyline R32, R33, R34 but I haven't yet the GT-R.
I've driven a few Porsche cars like Boxter, 911 Carrera 4s.
Almost all BMW's except the latest 5 and 6 series and many Mercs.
I haven't drive any Ferarri or Lambo or even a Maserati yet.

I have in storage my fathers old M535 e28 that I'm trying to find e28 M5 parts for conversion. I really want an NSX but I can't afford one now.

Wolf
Yeah, '69 fastback would be awesome! Although I wouldn't mind having this one either:

Mustangs and camaros(old ones) just look so beautiful.
Well I drive a beautiful 95 firebird with custom flag vynals. But I want a 2005 c5 racing Corvette. Not the stock"civilian " one.

I didn't even think about military vehicles. When I get my cdl I'm going to get a deuce and a half.
Wolf, Honda NSX's are gorgeous!

I'm really fond of anything Japanese, or American muscle.
HMMWV suck :p

I just like anything that runs.
I've always had love for the 240/180sx. Even better with the LS-X engine platform and a t-56.
My hillbilly ******* is comming out. There are few things that sound better than a Dodge 3500 with a straight piped Cummins diesel and a Banks turbo and intake. But trucks in general are cool, my dad and I are in the process of making a rat rod out of a '84 Toyota frame, '85 Chevy suburban running gear (minus the transfercase), and any semi truck cab we can find. This however, is our baby. It is a 1962 Chevy C30 flatbed dualy, four speed compound transmission, and what we think is a 383 small block. We had it doing 128 mph up a 7% grade by where we live.

Nice truck. Not familiar with a "compound" transmission though. You are brave doing 128mph up a hill that steep. My work truck is a 90 c2500 granny low 4spd 350 TBI. The old mechanical injection Cummins are awesome.
