My G-SPEC came today. The unboxing experience was just about the same as yours.

It's much better than the C-TAC version, which I got in December. It's lighter, it feels better (the C-TAC felt cheap and I immediately sanded the whole thing), and it's almost silent. This is with only the stock barrel spacer.

I shot it a few times then put in my AA hopup chamber. Still have to see how that works out.

The bucking has a really large contact area, so it is actually much like an r-hop. This might be a new thing. Also, all the internal screws have threadlocker on them.

I have an M170 spring but I won't put it in yet because I don't want to open the cylinder. I also have the Action Army hopup chamber, which as you probably noticed is really well liked on here. Northern Recon sells them in Canada.

Have you chrono'd the gun yet? And what scope do you have?
