It is not necessary to change the nozzle to the extended King Arms nozzle. However, the BB will not go in as much as it could. I do not know the effect on accuracy this may have. The nozzle is in the conversion kit because after installing the King Arms VSR chamber, the nozzle should be extended to compensate for the additional space between the hop up nub, bb, and bolt nozzle. KJW M700 bolt assemblies are available at evike for about $40. I do not know if the KJW M700 bolt will fit the G&G G96. I do, however, know that it WILL fit the Tanaka M700 series of guns (I have both the KJW M700 and Tanaka M700 AICS).

I use KJW bolts in my Tanaka. I find them to be of superior finish, even to my Tanaka bolt. I am not sure if the front end of the KJW bolt will go onto the rear end of the G&G bolt. I do know that the KJW bolt front end does NOT fit the Tanaka PCS bolt rear end(The striker tension adjust screw is a different length).
