Hi all, I found this on youtube and thought I would share.

That looks like it would be pretty fun to shoot. I don't find it very practical though or think that it could be very accurate with the little CO2 capsules though.

Is this just somebody's idea or is G&G actually doing this?
Looks like G&G is doing it. The two issues I see is that it's a bolt action blowback with ejecting shells and powered by 12g CO2 cartridges, so you get a long gun with a short inner barrel, and very low mag capacity that isn't practical for games.

As a backyard gun it looks pretty cool though :)
I think that shells are kind of a pain. They are cool but you have to buy them and you can loose them.
Looks really cool I`m thinking it could be worth tapping to have like unlimited gas somehow and just get epicness out of it. Shells I bet are going to be like 5 for 15 dollars.

But having to deal with each shell hardly makes HPA worth it. Also it seems the easiest place to tap would be the rear plate on the stock, which wouldn't be compatible with shoulders :p

I don't even think tapping it would work because it's got the little chamber for the CO2 cartridge and then the valve inside it that lets a tiny bit of unregulated CO2 (around 800 PSI) through to propel the bb.

It's kind of like the same concept with a CO2 pistol. I thought about tapping one a long time ago and then realized that it probably wouldn't work. Also, the chamber walls are probably very weak since they aren't actually holding the gas, just the metal cartridge.

I agree though, if it was possible to tap, it probably wouldn't be worth it. I wish manufacturers would spend more time on making rifles that are accurate, consistent, and durable rather than things like this.
Looks like it works on just about the same principle as the Asahi M40.

But instead of the air being inside of the shell, you have a small cart in the stock. To be honest, as cool as it would be to have the shell ejecting...... not really practical in a game setting. Especially since you need the shells to have the rifle function.

Now if they could make a gas sniper rifle that has a crisp recoil! Now that would be AWESOME!
yeah, its not probably a pain in the butt during games but it's great for collectors and back yard plinking. The shell ejection demo I saw on youtube doesn't look that great either... Still a cool idea though.
I agree with woogie. Keep the recoil and skip the shells. Nobody would buy this to field for this exact reason.
