Ok, now I am planning to get this gun -
http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/aeg/g-p-hong-kong/gandp-sentry-airsoft-aeg-black.html
The gun uses deans so I have to buy batteries which use deans ok. Or if you can shhow me to a timaya to deans adapter.

I am asking you to show me what batteries will fit into that stock and what adapter if any is needed (It has crocodile clips) is needed for this charger to charge them

Also could the links be from ehobbyasia.

Now I am wondering if someone could point out a good Lipo (Has to fit in buffer tube)and charger combo, the cheaper the better. The lipo and charger both have to be deans of course and preferably have a stabilizer with them. You can show me a timaya lipo - but please show me an instock deans timaya adapter (has to ship to Ireland)

Batteries is one area I'm not good with, help is appreciated.

Edit - And how do you tell if the charger is compatible with the lipo - does it charge through the deans/timaya connector or through the stabilizer thing?

I can't help you about sizing the battery's, never been good with that, but I can tell you that any lipo charger will charge any lipo. The small white plug is how lipos are charged, and the higher end balancers will also have an option for balancing it throu the deans as well as the white plug.

I always bought my battery's off hobby king.

Just buy some deans plugs for 4e, cut the original plugs from the battery (newly bought batterys should be empty) and the charger, then just solder the deans back, buy a plugs with those rubber socks to avoid crossing the wires.

That battery you have chosen should fit the stock tube. I would suggest getting a second one though so when you play you can swap lipos mid day to avoid over discharging. I say this because I ended up over discharging one and it damaged one of the cells. It smoked a little when I went to use it again after that so I had to dispose of it.

I would honestly recommend though grabbing a charger and lipo from hobby websites.

I bought a charger from this one hobby website which will balance lipos and charge nimh, nicd, and pb acid batteries. It also comes with a adapter to hook to the car battery so you can charge batteries if you are away from a wall outlet. A big plus though is that it was only 50USD. So 20USD (from the charger you listed above) more and you can have a better charger as well as a more mobile charger.

Also, with what I said above you can sell your old smart charger if you have one for about 15-20 and recoup most of the money lost spent buying a nicer one.

^Also if decide to buy a charger from a hobby website I would suggest buying lipos from there too. You can get the same battery listed above for cheaper.

I will tell you the dimensions of the one I had in my g&P when it was rear wired was 120mmx20mmx10mm.

The only thing I have to say about g&P guns is you MUST correct the AOE or it will break the end off pistons. I learned that the heard way when I first bought my g&p.

Finally, a good balance charger will charge through both the regular deans and the balancer port. If you get one which only charges through the balancer port it will charge slowly.

Lipo batteries are stored charged. If you are going to do this cut one wire then solder. Then cut the other and solder that. Although since there is no price difference I would just get the ones wired to deans. g&P sells their version of the deans plugs for really cheap if you get true deans plugs it'll cost you about $3.00USD a set of two.

EDIT: I just looked at the hobby website I shop at and the shipping is outrageous when shipping to Ireland. I guess you have to pay taxes when the item enters the country.

It's ok dude, I have it all sorted. I'm getting a charger which charges through the deans/timaya and the balancer, 2 G&P brand Li-pos (7.4v) designed to fit in the buffer tube, and an over-discharge alarm.

Thanks for telling me about the AEO problems with G&P's.
