Hi guys,

I'm looking for a new side-arm and have a budget of roughly $150.
The ideal pistol would be full-metal, have a threaded barrel and be of a decent quality and performance.
I quite like the look of Glocks, and Mk.23s.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Milo.

That's my thought too. The damn things are silent too. If you want something with some more kick, try the KWA MK23. You can find it on sale sometimes, and it's a wonderful gun!

Can't believe that TM comes with LAM and Suppressor! Are they good?

And I'm not too bothered about the case it comes with as I happen to have a spare Pelican case lying around. ;)

And Spellisaac, where did you get your G17 from?

Thanks.

+1 for the tm mk23.
I would say its the best preforming pistol you can buy.Ultra quiet with good range and power.
Plus if you really want to you can fit a g-spec 303 barrel, the fps hits about 420fps, but range is also improved a lot.

Only downside is the size with the silencer attached

I do like the look of the TM Mk.23. The KWA Mk.23 costs about the same but doesn't come with a suppressor and LAM unit so I'll probably go with the TM.
Thanks all.

Fixed slide is putting me off slightly from the TM. I'm looking in to the KWA's and I'll get a suppressor for it later on, unless I change my mind when I actually get hands on with the weapon.

There's no sense in putting a suppressor on a GBB unless you want a longer barrel. It doesn't really quiet a GBB any.

I feel your pain, I couldn't deal with the lack of blowback, but if you don't really mind, then that's probably the best gas pistol you can find when you add on the VSR inner barrel.

And I agree. I would put a long barrel in any pistol I could. What barrels are compatible with the TM MEU, that would fit in a Gemtech Blackside?

Is the pistol capable of taking propane or HFC only?

Alright, scrap the suppressor. KWA Mk.23 should do fine for me.
Unless I can find a decent Glock within the budget!
