The time has finally come. After a year or so of this "sniping" business, it has become quite clear that a ghillie is something I overlooked. For now I have started with just the head. The rest of the suit is to be made in the near future, perhaps this winter when I have more time. But for now the head piece suits me just fine.
First thing I did when I finished making it was go outside, throw some dirt on it, and soak it with water. After letting it live outside for a couple days I decided it was good.
(The grass had been in the head piece for a day, so it had mostly wilted or fallen out)
I had extra burlap after I finished the head piece so I went ahead and made a rifle wrap.
I made the kill flash and cover for the suppressor out of some weird vietnam era mosquito netting.
Please give me feedback! I would like to know what you think.
