Hi there, I'm getting into airsoft lately, and would like to purchase a ghillie suit. I am not worried about the purchase of a sniper rifle, so that is not a matter at hand right now. I don't have the time nor the ability to make a suit myself. So I have a question for those who use a suit. I am purchasing a ghillie for my first suit (I know, they're not as good as hand made, but my reasons still apply), and am stuck between two suits.

And
Amazon.com : Ghost Ghillie Suit - Advanced 3D Camo : Camouflage Hunting Apparel : Sports & Outdoors
If anyone could help me in making a decision. I live in New Mexico, and play in woodland/desert mixes, just for some background information. Thank you nonetheless.

Of the two I would go for the second one, though I'm not a huge fan of either. The first one advertises that it will not pick up leaves an twigs, when that is exactly what you want your ghillie to do.
I would do a bit more research into different types of ghillie suits before you spring for one. If you look through ghillie suit threads on this site you will see that most people (not all, but most) don't use a head to toe suit like those, but rather only cover their heads and shoulders and maybe their back and arms. That's not to say that there is no use for a full suit like those, but I personally am not a fan. It's a ton of extra jute to catch on things and make your suit way hotter than it needs to be.

IF you play in such a mixed environment, I'd doubt you'd have much use of any store bought ghillie.

You are better off with a pattern like multicam and solid stealth tactics then with a ghillie that much expose yourself more than a normal BDU.
