That's not a WELL, it's a Maruzen.

hmmm... Interesting, I bought the WELL and the EXACT same bipod came with it, by the way which I highly dislike. I'm not saying I don't believe its not a Maruzen I'm just wondering where the bipod came from. Another thing I love the look of your rifles, but I'm wondering why you've kept it stock becasue if you have some money upgrade it because a stock Maruzen ain't gonna help you much.

BUT... on the other hand an upgraded Maruzen can be the most reliable airsoft rifle you'll ever own!

Look at the second picture, follow the barrel until it meets the point right below the scope, you can see a little nitch on the side, this nitch is something that all clones have forgotten to produce, which I find quite funny.

Either way, it pops out when he's out of ammo (Fun fact for you Maruzen owners) because every Maruzen has a mechanism that goes off or happens when you're out.

Thats not necessarily true, I can not say whether or not the UTG has it but my My clone did however happen to make it but make it wrong. The WELL (my gun) has it they just did a crappy job with the production of it. It is there but sadly it is always up and doesn't work. Recently I have modified it after taking apart the stock and removing the spring which was place upside down, so now it works, but is quiet and sometimes I'll miss it if I'm not paying attention to it.

Another reason why I'm curious if its Maruzen or not is that the tab is up right now which is how the WELLs was before I fixed it. So once again I think it could be a WELL not a Maruzen

What is in the end of your barrel, cause it looks different then the normal barrel cap?

Yes, its a Marzuren, if I have to I will post picture of the box to put the discussion to rest haha.

Also the end cap is the orange flash hider sawed down and painted, but it's wearing through. My black flash hider that came with it is a fluke with messed up threads. It tried to put it in so hard that it actually cut my hand like a razor blade, so I just put that one in there for a quick fix, until I find a new one.

EDIT: I will upgrade it, I came here in hope of finding good upgrade advice, so have any feel free to share, or I'll just keep looking, can't be to hard.

Well, that was my first thing, a few more things you can notice are these:
No seems in the stock
The overall texture of the stock

Of course these can be faked with a few applications of spraypaint with texture, however it's not very likely.

He did paint it, so if there where seams in the stock they probly got covered up.

As for upgrades, it depends on how much you want to spend. Give us a price range i will cook up a list for you.

Like I said, those were things that could be fixed with Spraypaint and a little coverup, however they are just things you can tell.

I don't know though, for some reason I can always tell by eye or holding it if it's a real Maruzen.

I borrowed the Bi-pod from a friends M324, although I never use a bi-pod, thought it would help show the gun better for the picture.

Also deadeye, i would say around $300 for upgrades range.

With that budget, you could go with a few things:

1)Zero trigger ~$100
2)OK 500 fps Cylinder set ~ $100
3)DBCustom 6.01 inner barrel ~$50
4)PDI hop-up~$60
5) barrel spacers~$10
6)hard type hop-up bucking~$15

A little over though...

Not exactly sure on the prices. That barrel is going to be the best for the money, you can get the PDI one if you want more performance.

I think the zero trigger is 130 and I thought 500 fps was like 150. But since Dees customs makes a barrel for the Warrior 96 it would also work for the Maruzen. So you don't NEED the PDI hop-up, or the barrel spacers, but both would be nice to have.
With that list including the inner barrel and hop-up, you'll easily be shooting 530-550 and it will put you at around 430 with shipping (if my prices are right)

Yeah, I know it kinda sucks how much airsoft parts cost, it makes me wish they sold guns already upgraded, but then that wouldn't be fun would it.
