GoPro HD Hero 2 on a scope?

Has anyone ever though of or tried using the HD hero 1 or 2 with the lcd screen back pack and attacking it directly to the back of a scope? So you can then still snipe using the screen but most importantly get footage down the sights.

took the words out of my mouth tall grass, I have been contemplating the go pro on a scope as well but I have given up :( although I do have a new scope cam concept working now, hopefully it will turn out good.
