gun sights.

I have a red cross sight on my gun. It has non removable rail clamps but it shoots higher than the target, even though the uppy-downy dial thingy is on full up. What do you think is wrong and how do I fix it? ???

I've had this trouble before as well. I found out that my problem was that my hop was on too high, however if you've checked on that then I'd say you can try to turn it down all the way and then turn it back up. It could be that the scope is stuck and just needs to be wiggled a little. Lastly you could probably turn it on its side and use the Up/down to control the left to right and vice-versa. That's all I can come up with, I hope it helps.
