Hey guys!

I'm Trea (22) and I started playing airsoft (continuously, [Already tried out a few years back]) around 2014 September, in Sopron, Hungary. Right now I own an old MP5, but because I'm more like a careful, slow-paced player I want to change to snipers.

I was thinking about buying a JG bar-10 or a cyma.702.

Unfortunately i'm on a budget, that's why I decided on a low/mid-tier weapons and upgrade them piece by piece. If anyone has experience with these weapons (or even if not), which one would you recommend? (Currently I'm on 65-35 in favor of cyma because it is slightly faster and has a better deal on the internet)

The forum already helped me a lot with the guides.

Hungarian hello, eh? Good to have you here, Trea. Looks like you're goig about the right way with sniping. Got a good secondary yet? Quality bbs? Ghillie suit? Not to grill you on your gear, :hehe: I hope we can help you out wih all of your sniping needs. Post some pics of your field, and some of our resident bushes can help you out with your ghillie! Ask around in the sidearms section, and I'm sure you'll hit on a good secondary! And most of all, glad to have you here!
Wow, I sound like a lame commercial in that post.
I didn't start searching for a sidearm yet, but I'll definitely take a look at the relevant forum sections about it :)

About the ghillie, somehow I just don't like it. There are quite a few spots on my field where we have no bushes, and you have to cross them to reach the next section, so it would be quite easy to spot a crawling bush in the middle of a dirt road :hehe: + when I tried it, it felt a bit alien to my play style.

About quality BBs: So far I used BBone for my AEG, without any problem, but I'll look around for premium tier BBs for sniping (I won't shoot 1000s of bbs in one day so it will worth it :D )

Thank you for the warm welcome :)
Üdv itt!

Welcome.
I would go for the cyma or the A&K M24. They both have steel 90 degree internals already and they are mostly VSR compatible.

As for the ghillie, try a leaf suit instead. Much lighter and cheap too but works awesome. Here in the UK people like it better than ghillies. It will work great in Hungary because the sites are mostly forests with dense green vegetation.

Thank you for both of your advices!
one more thing: On the taiwangun and airsoftGI the Cyma 702 has a description of 480-550 FPS while on other sites it has only around 400, what could be the reason for a huge difference like that in a stock sniper?
Advertisement policy would be my guess. It could be that the one site is selling it with upgraded internals, but I kinda doubt that.
Welcome to the forum personally I would go with the JG BAR-10 because there's just so many parts for it and so many people have it they could help you out the CYMA version is still nice but not as much people have it and not as much upgrade parts in the end its up to you though good luck!

Thanks,
Jacob
Welcome to the forum...
I'd say go for the JG BAR10.
