well, i'm looking into just trying my hand at airsoft sniping, i'm well aware of guns and the hobby being a money pit, as it is i just run an AEG and a pistol. so back to the point from missouri, been in the hoby for 2 months now, and i'm ADDICTED to airsoft. from wayyy southern missouri, if anyone is familiar with the West plains area. and if anyone happens to have any advice on a basice sniping platform, that is still pretty upgradeable feel free to reccommend.

The UTG mk96 is a cheap rifle, that can be a great base platform, and can be slowly upgraded over time. Or all at once if possible

The bar 10 is also a good cheap platform, and is easily upgradeable. Both of these rifles have a ton of upgrade parts as well.

What rifle base would you recommend if price isn't a concern, as it is I already have an AEG, I can suffice until I get a solid sniper.
