Considering its for APS2 or SV I don't think it will. (Why do i get the feeling I've heard of a Type96 taking APS parts?)

I swear I've seen a bolt handle somewhere for a Type96 that wasn't the plain ol' ball....

You are right. The AGM l96 does not take the normal l96 bolt handle. The AGM either takes a VSR 10, or a APS2 bolt handle. I do not think the UTG l96 will take that bolt handle as that is for the APS2.

If you are old enough to do so.... why not get a blow torch and heat the handle up and bend it how you want?

A Maruzen L96, or an exact clone of can use an APS piston, piston head, spring, spring guide, and cylinder head.
