Ok, so I've never really upgraded, this would be my first project so go easy if I propose some stupid idea. Anyway I'm starting with a stock JG Bar 10 and working from there. I wanted to know if with the items I list, would it be a decent upgrade and would everything work, as well as should I get anything else.

No link but I will get an m190 spring (I know its not necessary but I'd like the extra fps)

Laylax Zero Trigger (has a piston with it)

So yeah, would all this work together? I've read that if you include a zero trigger that its not necessary to upgrade the sears, is this true? thanks to all who respond

Yes, it will all work together. However, that barrel is terrible, and I do not trust the ASGI hop bucking or spring guide. What is your budget?

Im going to purchase the Bar-10 to upgrade it. And yes, I've heard that the ASGI stuff wasn't good, but also heard that it was alright. I'd like to say my budget is about $450-$500 for upgrades, not including the bar-10 price

I settled on:

Bar 10 G Spec
Action Army zero trigger (had to file down the spring guide stopper to get it to fit)
Laylax M150 spring (getting just over 500fps which is the UK limit)
Laylax spring guide stopper
Fire Fly hard hop rubber
Laylax 6.03 barrel

Now since the AA trigger is $130 you save a fair bit. I have only played with mine once thus far but its works well.

Oh and zero trigger apparantly make it easier to cock.

Nope, a cylinder makes it easier to cock, not a trigger. However, the trigger will lighten the trigger pull.

Look at DIY mods too, such as:

Polish the cylinder body and the cylinder head.
Add teflon tape to the thread of the cylinder head.
Make your own full length paper barrel spacer.

Zero trigger does make cocking easier..

By a little, it helps more to deburr the cylinder, receiver, sears, etc.
