Well, hello everyone I'm new here, as you can see.

My name is Kostas, and I'm new in Airsoft playing too.
Anyway, I want to ask you if this package I have chosen, is quite good for a newbie.

AAAAH IT'S BLINDING!!! First off you're going to need other bb's even though they include some .12's (that's what it looks like). And if you're over 18 then you're going to want to get some nice vented goggles instead of a PB mask...unless you're willing to spend upwards of 50 dollars on one with nice ventilation and thermal lenses.

As for goggles, this is the best deal running: Bolle X500's for $20 or T800's for $25

I have the T-800's and they're great. No fogging issues.

As for the package you picked out, it is definitely not something I would recommend taking into a skirmish. If you want to get into mainstream airsoft, you'll have to be willing to sink more money that $60. Granted if you're just playing airsoft with a couple friends in a backyard, that spring gun would be enough.

Keep in mind that playing with friends in the backyard is what is getting all the anti-airsoft legislation passed. People couldn't care less if we go off into the wild blue yonder and shoot each other, but the suburbanites and tightasses.

So I STRONGLY recommend you go to an actual insured and regulated airsoft event if you want to play. Looking at what you're looking to spend on your equipment though (and knowing that a day of playing is $25), I'm going to bet we've got one more person shooting the neighborhood cat.

I don't mean to sound harsh, and I can almost guarantee everyone's gone through a backyard/public park stage
