Hides?

I was wondering if you guys ever build a hide out in the field. Something like a piece of net suspended low to the ground covered with veg, with dirt dug up from under it pushed against the sides of the net as some cover, or even something more advanced. I think it might be helpful to have a more built up spot to snipe from, but I dont know if it would be worth it.

I made a hide this weekend for a small skirmish. It was just a smallish piece of plywood, with brown ground tarp streched over it. I built it up about 18 inches off the ground, and the covered it with pinestraw, because that was what was all over my AO. It worked pretty well, and my brother, with a similar hide as me about 5 feet to the left of me was concealed too. It was off to the side of a well used path, and we managed to shred the enemy squad as they passed by us. Thanks for all the tips.
