Hop-up help?

I am new to the wonderful world of airsoft sniping, and I was wondering how you want your hop-up to shoot the bb. Should it fly flat, or start rising right out of the barrel? I've tried to figure this out for myself, but I figured that there are many people who know much more than I do about this.:bow:

Please, anyone. I need to shoot my freinds SOMETIME this summer.

It depends. Test fire your rifle and get comfortable with it. Set your hop to accurately hit a average range of engagement ...

It should not go up right after it goes out of the barrel, either flat, or in a way that the bb goes up a little in the end of its flight. (it's called "slight overhop")
