Hi,
pretty much what the title says.
I have a DMR build (1 joule max power here Italy, r-hop, with everything upgraded to the best).
Currently using 0.32 from BLS, I can hit a torso target 9/10 times at 60 meters.
What difference will I see if I start to use 0,36 or 0,4? If there are any, are they noticeable?

The other day tried 0,28 but little difference in terms of accuracy and range compared to 0,32.

At 1J I find .32g to be about ideal, as that's what works best in my SSX23.

You can shoot about any BB weight as I've recently realized, but it's best to use whatever BB gives you 290-360 FPS except for some rare cases.

But .32g and .30g are what I recommend for you.

At 1j, the heavy bbs like 0.4gr will be also too slow and I doubt that will go further than the 0.32gr you are using.
Just borrow a few 0.40gr & test shooting these heavy bbs and see how they perform...I agree with SiliconeS, stay at 0.30-0.36gr (tops) bbs.

@SiliconeSword ssx23 (out of the box) also shoots very good the 0.25gr bbs and accurately at 50m. What is the longest "hit" range you've noticed using 0.32gr on ssx23?

At 1 joule I tend to go with 0.28gm. But each to their own.
Sheed who also plays at my field prefers 0.3gm at 1 joule.

I see it as hop up issue and a price issue

Can your DMR hop heavier bb?

While prices will vary, based on BLS bbs and the vendors state side:
.25 = .37 cents
.28 = .45 cents
.30 = .51 cents
.32 = .58 cents
.36 = 1.26 cents
.40 = 1.85 cents
.43 = 1.72 cents
.45 = 2.40 cents

There is a steep jump beyond .32 can you hit your target given 2 to 4 times more ammo? As a DMR you can just fire a couple of extra shots to connect

I run R-hop in my assault mains at 1J on BLS .3g - I would say there is a slightly notable tightness to grouping every weight increase.
.25s shocking
.28s better
.30s great
.32s great

While I haven't used .40s in my mains I have used them in my Mk23 and if the target is unaware you're shooting the shots were almost too good to be true. But head to head engagements unless the targets was close I lost out due to how slow the BB was travelling.
