on a website, how can you tell if a rifle is pre ban?
i believe this rife is preban but i have no way to know
its the last one on the page, th m40

i dont think retailers have pre-bans anymore, i have yet to see one, but i do find some on ebay/cragislist/forums once in a while...if you are able to get your hands on one, just pull out the bolt and you'll see a knob that the post-bans do not have

So are helpful people. Pre-Ban rifles include the Pegasus bolt system. The system incorporates an easily manipulated valve on the bottom of the bolt that allows you to adjust the FPS.
