How effective are power up suppresors?

If they works by extending the end of the main inner barrel with an inner barrel connection, wouldn't that means that there will be seams in the "BB track", which is generally a bad thing? And what if the diameter is different, e.g from the main barrel that has 6.05mm diameter and the extension with 6.03mm diameter? Wouldn't that makes the BB collides with the edge of the extension and making it unstable?

All in all, how will it affect the accuracy and trajectory of the BB?
They might work IF
  • Your gun cylinder/barrel ratio is high for your current BB weight. In other word, your gun is overvoluming.
  • There are no misalignment between the current inner barrel and the extension. No collision of BB onto the extending part.

The gain is minimal however, the longer your current inner barrel is, the less power your gun will gain from the extension. I usually see this mod on pistols where inner barrel is really short.

I think this mod is really bad cuz it is very hard to align with the current inner barrel. Might as well just get a longer inner barrel and put a mock suppressor over it, if your gun is overvoluming of course.
