Just wondering how many you guys go through sniping in one year?

I probably kill about 30,000 a year from practice shooting, adjusting hop ups, actual ops, and shooting for fun. I might shoot a bit more, but definately nothing that high.

WOW!!! i thought 30,000 was a lot, but i can understand since you use an AEG. but some one said 100,000 that's crazy, probably dutton, livonia or someone else crazily amazing! i use only about 7500 cause i go threw a little more than 6000. wow I look kind of lame compared to you guys.

Well I mean, factor all this in:
- Team RAGE is THE most active team in Michigan. We have only missed two operations all year'

- On top of that we have a lot of smaller rec games and fun games that we attend

- I have to sight in my rifle when I get it, not to mention I used to be a semi-auto sniper for the duration of this year.

Putting all that into perspective 30k doesn't really seem to be that much. But I mean, here is our list of ops this year:

If we're talking strictly sniping, I probably go through 10,000 or less a year. Now, if I'm using one of my other guns, that's a completely different story. At Op. Battle of the Bulge, using my PTW I went through probably close to 5,000 bbs. If I'm using my SAW or MG36, God only knows how many bbs I go through.

I shoot like 90bb's an Op at most.

I only have one magazine, and I usually make it last a long time.

I use probably around 4000 rds a year just sniping. Like 85% of that is plinking an adjusting my scope.

I'm in the same boat as Dutton. When I'm doing the sniping role, Ill go through maybe 100 in a day's worth of gaming, as a DM, it may be closer to 350-500 depending on how many players there are. When I'm doing the SAW gunner role, I can easilly spit out about 10-15+ thousand in a day.

I would give almost anything to have an urban environment here at my place... We have only two small cliffy woods to play in. Other one has few real war time bunkers (not big, like two times two squaremeters apiece) so they aren't that much fun after all.

I think he means an actual city, not so much a place you can play airsoft in.

I use about 200 BBs, give or take a few during an OP. It all depends on the scenario, sometimes I'll shoot a whole mag off when playing with an attack force. Or I won't fire at all, really depends though.

So over a year, probably around 2,000 BBs.
