My friend and I are making our own ghillie suits this weekend. We are covering our backs, back of our legs, our arms, and making a head piece. I already have the netting put on my bdu's but I realized that 1,500 feet of jute probably won't be enough for both of us. So my question is how many feet of jute would be required for the both of us?
Not really to sure on the "normal" ammount. But when I make mine, or help a buddy make theirs, I will usually go to a fabric shop and get 3-4 yards of burlap. Shread it and then dye it. That is usually more than enough to make a full suit.
