How would you approach sniping at a overnight game? It'd be super hard to see that's why I wonder, how could I pull it off? I have one in 2-3 weeks. I'd like to avoid night optics (I'd have to buy one) I do have R/G illumination.

Illumination on your optic works for lighting up the cross hairs. Use it on a low setting, and it gives you enough to see your cross hairs. Now just aim for lights, or if possible the object you can see.

If there are lights in the areal, stay in the dark, aim into the lighted area.

I personally find sniping at night without some kind of NVD incredibly dangerous. There is no way to tell if there is something in the line of fire. I have actually seen a guy get shot at 25 feet from a 550FPS gun because of that exact thing. The sniper thought he saw a dim light in the distance, but it was actually the glow of a chem stick under the guys BDUs.

I wouldn't try to snipe at night with illumination, you've not going to be able to see much at all.

I'd just buy some night optics to make sure you've not shooting someone in the face at 20m

The idea of the illumination is to be able to see your cross hairs with ease. If the area has some dim lights it makes things ten times easier.

Plant some remote lights and light them up when you hear movement. This way the light signature will become your decoy and draw fire while illuminating the area. With the sound of the AEGs firing at the light you'll have plenty of time for a surprise attack from your actual, undetected firing position.

Just an idea, it is not meant to be actually that serious but it's nice imagining that :)
