I just received my Harris bipod and hooked it up to my L96, but am having a problem. When I shoot the gun w/o the bipod, no springy sound, but when it's attached, SPRINGY SOUND GALORE! Can anyone tell me how to secure it so that the vibrations don't carry into the springs on the bipod? I already tightened everything down well, so that can't be it.

Wrap it in electrical tape? That ow i get rid of that sound in my BAR10 when the springs hits the metal spring guide.

Its like a "Thruuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm" Right?

I'm thinking that putting something soft (leather, felt, etc) where the bipod meets the stock will solve my problem, I'm going to test it tomorrow.

That's what they generally come with.
