I still think this thread needs to be stickied and the other Washing bb's thread should be unstickied. This is is very informative with pictures. It has all the info you need in the first post. The old thread is long and draw out. The first post on the old Washing BB's thread does not show you anything about how to clean your bb's.
So unstickied this: http://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/32-general-sniper-talk/1040-washing-bb-s.html
Make this forum better. Have the best threads stickied!!!

Sumta has done a good job here and it is a credit to him.
PS. I know he has added this info to the old washing thread but it is lost somewhere in the 9 pages.

I agree with them both. This one helped me a lot more than the other one.

Just remember dont wash bio-degradable (spend the extra on double polished).
I have read through a few threads here on washing BBs and was happy to see this - particularly the double polished part.

Not sure how many threads there are but is this the definitive answer on bio BBS? Is there anything that can/should be done to them?

I really wouldn't bother, washing BBs was WAAAAYYYY back in the day when BBs were really really dirty and bad quality, these days it makes ZERO noticable difference.
If you use Novritsch, BLS, or any expensive brand like Geoff's, Longbow, KM, Cleanshot, Silo, and so on, you shouldn't worry about washing, same with basically every other BB.

As for washing bio BBs, that wax coating protects them from degrading in you speedloader or bag, and it actually helps fill in little pockets leading to better accuracy through less drag and more consistent FPS.

If you are after the most accuracy or whatever, sort your BBs by weight instead, but that is too much work for me so I don't do it.
Just buy BLS and you'll be fine.

Also, this is the most legendary necro post I have ever see, I didn't even know about airsoft 6 years ago lol.
So, don't post on something this old unless you started the thread or it's younger than maybe 4 months as people will bitch at you way more than myself, and it's pretty scuff to play with a human corpse

Thank you sir.

I understand about necroposting but then if you post a new thread about an old topic you get railed on most forums so its damned if you do, damned if you dont?

Apologies

PS: I just bought a bottle of Novritsch .36's

Also I think it has value to have your update here as someone only reading this topic would have never know washing bbs was a thing of the past?

I certainly didn't.
